GPI LLC Privacy Policy

Revision 1  |  Effective and Revision Date: September 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how GPI LLC, doing business as GPImeters.com (collectively, “GPI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit or use gpimeters.com and related pages, submit an inquiry, request a quote, create an account, place an order, or otherwise communicate or transact with us (collectively, the “Services”). GPI LLC is a member of the Clark-Reliance group of companies.

Please read this Policy carefully. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Services. This Policy does not apply to a manufacturer’s or other third party’s website, product, service, or privacy practices, even if linked from our website.

1. Personal Information We Collect

The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us and may include:

  • Identifiers and contact information, such as name, company, job title, billing and shipping addresses, email address, telephone number, account username, and other contact details.
  • Order, transaction, and commercial information, such as products viewed, quoted, ordered, returned, or serviced; purchase history; order numbers; tax-exemption information; delivery instructions; and communications concerning an order.
  • Payment information. Payments may be processed by banks, card networks, payment processors, or e-commerce providers. We generally receive transaction confirmations and limited payment details rather than complete payment-card numbers.
  • Account and customer-service information, including account preferences, saved addresses, requests, support records, product applications, warranty or return information, and correspondence with us.
  • Device and usage information, such as Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, dates and times of visits, approximate location derived from an IP address, and interactions with the Services.
  • Cookie and similar-technology information, including information collected through cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies, as described below.
  • Information from third parties, including Clark-Reliance group companies, manufacturers and suppliers, distributors, service providers, fraud-prevention providers, shipping carriers, publicly available sources, and business partners.

Please do not send us sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your purchase or inquiry. We do not intend to collect precise geolocation, biometric data, health information, or other sensitive personal information through the Services unless reasonably necessary and permitted by law.

2. How We Collect Personal Information

We collect personal information directly from you when you browse the website, complete a form, request information or a quote, create or use an account, place or change an order, request a return, communicate with us, or otherwise use the Services. We also collect information automatically from your browser or device and may receive information from the third parties described in this Policy.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services.
  • Respond to inquiries; prepare quotations; process, verify, fulfill, ship, service, change, cancel, or return orders; issue eligible refunds or credits; and provide customer support.
  • Create and administer customer accounts and maintain business and transaction records.
  • Communicate about orders, products, services, policy updates, safety notices, recalls, warranty matters, and other administrative information.
  • Send marketing communications where permitted by law. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message; we may still send non-marketing communications about your account or transactions.
  • Understand website use, measure performance, troubleshoot problems, develop products and services, and improve customer experience.
  • Protect our customers, personnel, systems, and business; authenticate users; prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents; and enforce our agreements and policies.
  • Comply with law, legal process, tax and accounting obligations, export controls, sanctions, product-safety duties, and requests from governmental authorities.
  • Evaluate or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or other business transaction.

4. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to:

  • Clark-Reliance and other affiliated companies for administration, information technology, finance, compliance, customer support, fulfillment, business operations, and other legitimate business purposes consistent with this Policy.
  • Manufacturers, suppliers, authorized service providers, and distributors when needed to prepare a quote, confirm product compatibility or availability, fulfill or service an order, administer a warranty or return, investigate a product concern, or otherwise respond to your request.
  • E-commerce hosts, payment processors, banks, card networks, fraud-prevention providers, shipping carriers, logistics providers, analytics providers, communications vendors, professional advisers, and other service providers that perform services for us.
  • Government authorities, courts, regulators, law-enforcement agencies, or other parties when we believe disclosure is required or permitted by law, necessary to protect rights or safety, or appropriate to investigate fraud, security, or legal violations.
  • A purchaser, successor, lender, adviser, or other party involved in an actual or proposed business transaction involving GPI or its assets.
  • Other parties at your direction or with your consent.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for money in the ordinary sense of “selling” information. Some privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly enough to include certain advertising or analytics technologies. The choices described in Section 8 apply where required by law.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, keep items in a shopping cart, remember preferences, secure transactions, understand website traffic, improve performance, and, where enabled, support advertising or measure marketing. Some cookies are necessary for the Services to function; others may be controlled through a cookie-preference tool if one is made available on the website or through your browser settings.

Blocking cookies may affect website functionality. Browser-based “Do Not Track” signals are not interpreted consistently across the industry. Where required by applicable law and supported by our systems, we will process recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out for the browser or device that sends the signal.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to complete transactions, provide support, maintain warranty and product records, meet tax, accounting, export, safety, and legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the nature of our relationship, and applicable legal requirements. We may retain deidentified or aggregated information where permitted by law.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

8. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you reside and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information; obtain a portable copy; opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising; restrict or object to certain processing; or appeal a decision concerning a privacy request. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To submit a privacy request, email sales@gpimeters.com or contact us as provided in Section 13. Please state that your request concerns privacy and describe the right you wish to exercise. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and verification of the consumer’s identity. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the email. You may manage nonessential cookies through any cookie-preference tool provided on the website or through your browser. These choices do not affect necessary cookies or transaction and service communications.

9. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Services may link to or interact with websites and services operated by manufacturers, suppliers, payment providers, carriers, social-media platforms, or other third parties. Those parties control their own privacy practices. We encourage you to review their privacy notices before providing personal information.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for business and general commercial audiences and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

11. International Visitors

GPI is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States and other countries where GPI, Clark-Reliance group companies, manufacturers, or service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be posted on the website with its effective or revision date. Changes and clarifications take effect when posted unless a different date is stated. If a change materially affects how we use personal information already collected, we will provide any additional notice required by applicable law.
